FEBRUARY 27, 2021 - FREMONT, CALIFORNIA – Sidus Energy, a leading battery technology company, has announced that it has signed an agreement with the government of Nantong, China, to expand its R&D and manufacturing in Nantong. In the initial stage, an R&D and Engineering facility will be built for product development and manufacturing development. In the next stage the plan is to build a 2 GWh manufacturing factory. The Nantong government also agreed to support the further expansion of manufacturing capacities in the future.

Most of the initial new space will be dedicated to R&D and manufacturing development activities. The site will also accommodate functional supporting staff.

Mr. Ryan Chen, COO of Sidus Energy, signed the agreement with Nantong officials at the signing ceremony on behalf of the company.
